Rock The Bells 2013 Lineup to Include Eazy E, ODB Holograms Among Others

It’s been a decade since the hip-hop summer festival Rock the Bells descended upon San Bernardino, Cali. Now ten years in, the festival’s lineup is beefier than ever…and more high tech than ever.

The fest will hit 4 cities, 2-night performances at each: San Bernardino, CA on Sept 7-8, Mountain View, CA on Sept 14-15, Washington D.C. on Sept. 28-29, and Rutherford, NJ Oct. 4-5. The lineup includes Common, Wu Tang, Jhene Aiko, Curren$y, Big K.R.I.T, Too $short, Kid Cudi, Bone Thugs N Harmony, E-40, Juicy J, Hit-Boy, Talib Kweli, Tech N9ne, Immoral Technique, and more…including Eazy E and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

Yup, you read correctly… much like Tupac appeared performed at 2012’s Coachella festival via hologram, Eazy E and Ol’ Dirty Bastard are slated to resurrect in the form of their digital, see-through selves for one last performance alongside their respective groups and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Wu-Tang Clan.

But Chang Weisberg, the curator behind Rock The Bells, dishes to Fuse that other deceased emcees and legendary performers may also reappear for future festivals.

“It’s our hope that the work that we do with the festival continues after the festival as long as the opportunity is special and unique. I‘m working with the James Brown estate. I’m working with TLC. I’ve never seen Bob Marley, Duke Ellington or Marvin Gaye perform. It’s a supply and demand world. Sky’s the limit,” he said.

Rock The Bells 2013 is gearing up to be one of the most unique and electrifying music festivals in recent years. This year’s lineup includes something that has never been seen before, holograms of some of rap and hip-hop’s biggest stars from yesteryear: Eazy E and ODB. Imagine being able to see two legends of the game brought back to life for one night only! It’ll truly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for any fan of classic Hip Hop culture.

The festival will also include performances by current superstars like Wu Tang Clan, A$AP Rocky, Curren$y and Juicy J. Not to mention special guest appearances by Slick Rick, Immortal Technique and Big Daddy Kane – just to name a few! With so much talent on display at Rock The Bells this summer, it’ll not only be an unforgettable show but also a fitting tribute to the legacy these artists have left behind.

As if all this wasn’t enough, there will even be an interactive art gallery featuring artwork inspired by each artist performing at Rock The Bells 2013. You won’t want to miss out on this incredible event – get your tickets today!

Overview Of The Concert

Rock the Bells 2013 is set to be an unforgettable experience, with an impressive lineup of artists and a unique twist. Hosted by Guerilla Union in San Francisco, the concert will feature performances from some of hip-hop’s most iconic figures such as Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, LL Cool J and more. There’ll also be hologram appearances from late legendary rappers Eazy-E and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

The live performance portion of the event will take place at Shoreline Amphitheatre on September 28th – 29th and October 5th – 6th. In addition to that, fans can expect special guest DJs spinning throughout each day. This year’s show promises to bring together old school rap legends with new age stars like Kendrick Lamar and Juicy J for what will no doubt be a memorable weekend of music.

Guerilla Union has been putting on Rock The Bells events since 2004 but this year they’re doing something extra special: creating two ground breaking holograms featuring never before seen performances from deceased emcees Eazy-E and ODB. This innovative use of technology brings back memories of classic hits while introducing them to a whole new generation of fans who may not have had the chance to witness their genius first hand.

Featured Performers

Rock The Bells 2013 is sure to be an unforgettable experience, and that’s due in large part to the incredible lineup of performers. Fans can expect some classic hip-hop icons like Wu Tang Clan, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest and LL Cool J alongside newer talents including Kendrick Lamar and Juicy J. All these acts will come together for what promises to be a memorable weekend of musical entertainment.

But one of the most exciting aspects of this event is the hologram performances from two late legendary rappers: Eazy-E and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. This groundbreaking technology allows fans to get a glimpse at how each rapper might have performed today had they still been alive. It also serves as an introduction to their music for those who weren’t around during their respective heydays.

All in all, Rock The Bells 2013 looks set to provide something special for both longtime hip hop heads as well as newcomers alike, with its combination of live performances by established stars mixed with holograms from rap’s past greats. With such a unique blend on offer there’s no doubt it’ll be an incredibly enjoyable show for everyone involved.

Conclusion

The Rock the Bells 2013 lineup is sure to be an incredible show. With performances from legendary hip-hop artists like Eazy E and ODB, as well as holograms of them both, it’s no wonder why this concert will be a must-see event. Everyone attending can expect to see some amazing music and experience something truly unique.

I’m personally excited for all the different acts at Rock the Bells. From old school rap legends to up and coming talent, there are definitely going to be some great shows to watch. It’ll also be really cool to see how they incorporate technology into their performance with the hologram set pieces. I’m looking forward to seeing what else they have in store!

All in all, Rock the Bells looks like it’s going to be one rockin’ good time. This type of lineup has never been seen before and promises plenty of surprises throughout the night. Whether you’re a fan of classic rap or want an introduction into new hip-hop sounds, this concert has something for everyone – so don’t miss out!
