It was a reunion decades in the making – and it wasn’t complete. The original members of Danity Kane, the female pop group that skyrocketed to fame in 2006, gathered for their first lunch together since 2009… but without one key member: D. Woods. Despite her absence, the other four ladies had plenty to say about meeting up again after so long apart. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for fans who have followed their careers over the years, with mixed feelings as we learn what happened at this historic reunion between Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres.
The story began back when they were part of MTV’s Making The Band series in 2005. With Puff Daddy at the helm, five talented young women rose from obscurity and became instant stars with hits like “Show Stopper” and “Damaged”. But despite being popular on both sides of the Atlantic, internal drama caused them to disband in 2009 – until now.
After months of speculation over whether or not they’d get back together – plus a few false alarms along the way – these former bandmates finally met up face-to-face. What did they talk about? Where is D. Woods? Will there ever be another album? We’ll answer all those questions (and more) here as we take you inside the momentous Danity Kane lunch reunion!
Other Members Of The Group
With the sudden news of Danity Kane reuniting without Dawn Richard (D. Woods), fans were left wondering who else would be joining the group. All that was known at first was that Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex and Aundrea Fimbres had reunited and were planning a comeback tour.
After much speculation, it was confirmed that Kalenna Harper – another original member of Danity Kane – would also join the reunion lunch. This came as welcome news to many of their long-time fans, eager to experience some classic Danity Kane magic once again.
The four members have been preparing for an exciting new era in music history with this reunion but there’s still no word on if or when D. Woods will ever join them onstage again – leaving fans hopeful for a future full of surprises from these talented women.
Memories Of Their Time Together
The Danity Kane reunion lunch was a special moment for all four of the members, as they reminisced about their time together in the past. From memories of recording music to performing live on stage, it seemed like these moments were still so vivid and fresh in their minds – even after all this time.
As each woman shared stories and laughed with one another, it felt almost as if no time had passed since they last saw each other’s faces. In between bites of food, Aubrey O’Day made sure to point out how lucky she was to have such an amazing group of friends that could come together despite any differences or disagreements that may have happened before.
It was clear from the way these women interacted at the reunion lunch that there is still plenty of love and respect between them all. Though D. Woods wasn’t present physically, her spirit lived on through her former bandmates’ kind words and fond recollections of their experiences together.
Conclusion
The Danity Kane lunch reunion without D. Woods was bittersweet for the other members of the group. Although they were happy to be reunited after all this time, it was sad not having their fifth member with them. Aubrey remembered when she first joined the band and how much fun they had together while touring and recording music. Shannon recalled that one time in Atlanta where they got ice cream at 2 AM and laughed until their stomachs hurt. Aundrea thought about all the late night talks that would turn into early morning conversations over breakfast before soundcheck.
Even though a lot has changed since their days as a group, these former members of Danity Kane still managed to find joy in each other’s company during their brief reunion without D. Woods. They shared stories from those times spent together on tour and reminisced fondly about all of those moments that made up some of the best years of their lives. Even though there is no longer an active group, the bond between these five people will forever remain strong even if it can’t always be seen publicly.
At the end of the day, this lunch reunion brought back memories for everyone involved; good ones but also bad ones due to D. Wood’s absence. However, it was nice being able to take some time out from busy schedules to catch up with old friends once again, regardless if someone wasn’t present or not. It may have been just another lunch gathering between old pals but then again maybe it was something more than that – a reminder that friendship never dies despite what life throws our way sometimes.
