Rapper Too Short came up a bit short of sobriety after being arrested for DUI and narcotics possession on Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, reports TMZ. He’s currently being held on $10,000 bail.

He was initially pulled over for a traffic violation, but officers quickly noticed the rapper was acting erratic, as if he was under the influence. When authorities tried to issue a breathalyzer test, the rapper "ran from officers and actually tripped and fell. He got maybe half a block and was taken into custody there," says Lt. Marc Reina of the LAPD. When officers apprehended Short, they found his alcohol limit was 0.9, one-tenth above the legal limit of 0.8. Too Short then tried to discard the substances during the ride in the police car, according to Lt. Reina.

“It's just unfortunate this happened. We'll get to the bottom of it,” said his manager David Weintraub.

Too Short was arrested in 2009 for DUI, and 2010 for misdemeanor battery.

Rapper Too Short, real name Todd Shaw, has been arrested on felony charges. The Bay Area rapper was caught driving under the influence and in possession of narcotics. This arrest is a major setback for the veteran artist who’s been creating music since the 1980s.

The news that Too Short had been taken into custody hit fans hard as they were shocked to hear about his legal troubles. He’d previously maintained a clean record throughout his career and this sudden turn of events came as a surprise.

Too Short is now facing serious jail time with DUI and drug-related offenses stacking up against him. His reputation will undoubtedly suffer from this incident but it remains to be seen how long he’ll spend behind bars or if he’ll even get any jail time at all.

Overview Of Incident

The Bay Area rapper Too Short was recently arrested in Los Angeles for driving under the influence and felony narcotics possession. This incident has caused a stir among fans, many of whom had no idea that the rapper was engaged in such activities.

According to reports, police pulled over Too Short when they noticed him driving erratically on a Los Angeles street. Upon further investigation, authorities discovered narcotic drugs inside his vehicle, prompting them to arrest the hip-hop artist for DUI as well as drug possession charges.

Too Short is now facing legal action from both state and federal authorities following this incident. It remains unclear what sort of punishment he could face if convicted – however, one thing’s certain: this event will have far-reaching consequences for Too Short and his career moving forward.

Legal Implications

The legal implications of Too Short’s arrest are serious yet uncertain. In California, a person can face up to six months in prison for driving under the influence and an additional three years if found guilty of felony narcotics possession. However, it remains unclear what sentence he will receive as this case is still ongoing.

Beyond potential jail time, Too Short could be facing fines or probationary terms depending on how his case plays out in court. Additionally, any conviction would likely lead to long-term career ramifications due to the public nature of the incident. This means that even after serving his sentence, Too Short may encounter difficulty finding work within the music industry.

If convicted, Too Short must be prepared to live with the consequences of his actions both short and long term – a lesson which serves as a reminder for all celebrities who engage in criminal activities.

Conclusion

In conclusion, rapper Too Short’s recent arrest for DUI and felony narcotics possession will have a major impact on his career. He now faces severe legal consequences that could potentially lead to jail time or other penalties.

It is important to remember that this incident should serve as a reminder of the seriousness of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Everyone needs to be aware of the dangers associated with such actions and take steps to ensure their own safety and the safety of others at all times.

Too Short has already paid the price for his mistake and hopefully he can learn from it and become a better role model in the future. This incident serves as an example of why we must always respect the laws surrounding drug use and driving so that similar tragedies can be avoided.
