The R&B/New Jack Sing Group consisted of two sets of brothers K-Ci and Jojo and Devante Swing and Mr. Dalvin. After signing to Uptown Records, the group’s image was put in the hands of then Uptown Exec, Sean “Puffy” Combs. He helped give the R&B group their signature hip hop/street look. After three albums the group disbanded.
Ki-Ci and Jojo went on to pursue their one career as a duo, creating unforgettable classics like “All My Life.” They also appeared on the TV One reality show K-Ci & Joj Come Clean, which explored their long battle with drugs and alcohol. Devante Swing formed his own record label, Swing Mob, singing artists like Ginuwine, Missy Elliot, Playa, and Timbaland and the start of their careers. He produced for 2Pac and plans on releasing his own music in the future. Mr. Dalvin recorded two albums â Met.A.Mor.Phic and Met.A.Mor.Phic (unreleased) and was set to release his latest Egomaniac in 2012.
After separating for a while the group then reunited. The signed a new deal in 2010 with Babface’s record label Soda Pop Records and plan on touring and releasing a new album, though no dates are yet to be confirmed.
