The wait is almost over for the anticipated movie "Betty & Coretta." Starring Mary J. Blige and Angela Bassett, the anticipated project showcases the bond between two women brought together by tragic circumstances and the strength they had to press on and fight for equality.
Lifetime has released a preview (watch below) and behind the scenes look at the movie, which premieres in February, with both Mary J. Blige and Angela Bassett weighing in on the significance of the effort.
"There were things that helped me to get in that mind-frame. I used my friendships to understand what Betty and Coretta had for each other," Mary J. Blige says in video below. "I believe this story, at its core, is really about women just being there for one another."
