Trey Songz stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” today to talk about his new role in “Texas Chainsaw 3D.”
Before he got to discuss his role and new opportunities in Hollywood, the “Heart Attack” singer gave his first reaction to Wednesday’s Grammy nominations.
“I actually found out as soon as I got off stage. I was at Madison Square Garden last night. I came off stage, after a sold out show, to find out. It was great news,” said Songz.
While he said he hadn’t had much sleep since performing last night, he woke all the way up thanks to a fan in the audience. In must see video below, a no.1 fan gave him the hug of life….
As for “Texas Chainsaw 3D,” Songz says the movie was a good starting point because horror does not come with as much pressure as something like a drama.
“Music is of course my first love. I’ve been offered a lot of movie roles, but I took my time. The beautiful thing about “Texas Chainsaw 3D,” with a horror film, there is not too much pressure as far as acting.”
