In case you forgot about “American Idol” and the amount of stars the show has produced, hit making producer and judge Randy Jackson has pulled out his receipts (dating back to the first season, at that).
In the latest ad for “American Idol,” Jackson references everyone from Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson to Carrie Underwood and recent winner Phillip Phillips before calling the show the “gold standard of singing shows.”
“We have a country superstar in Carrie Underwood. We’ve had an Oscar winner in Jennifer Hudson, I mean, you’ve got Daughtry. Look what Phillip Phillips has done this year with the song “Home,” Jackson says in video below.
While it might seem a little boisterous, Jackson is right. Can “The Voice” or “X Factor” match stats like that ? NO.
Watch Randy Jackson break it down in video below. “American Idol” premieres Wednesday, Jan. 16 on FOX.

Receipts have been served! Randy Jackson, former judge of the hit show American Idol, recently came out with a major shout-out to one of its past contestants. In an exclusive interview, he credited Jennifer Hudson for her success and labeled the show as “the Picasso” of our time –– high praise indeed! This is proof that some good can come from reality TV talent competitions. Read on to learn more about this inspiring story.

The world was first introduced to Jennifer Hudson in 2004 when she auditioned for season 3 of American Idol. Even though she didn’t win, Randy Jackson knew there was something special about her and told his fellow judges: “You’re gonna regret not putting her through … trust me.” We know now who had the last laugh – after all these years later, JHud has become an Oscar winner and Grammy award recipient!

In a recent interview promoting his new book, Randy opened up about how proud he is of Jennifer’s incredible career achievements. He went so far as to call American Idol “the Picasso” of its generation because it gave birth to stars like Hudson. It’s no wonder why fans across the globe still remember him fondly to this day!

Randy Jackson’s Praise For Jennifer Hudson

Randy Jackson is not shy when it comes to praising Jennifer Hudson. The former American Idol judge recently took the time out of his busy schedule to recognize her achievements in a video clip. He called her an ‘incredible talent’ and said she was one of the most successful artists ever to come from the show. It’s clear that he has a great deal of respect for her, and believes she embodies what makes American Idol so special.

Jackson went on to describe the show as being “the Picasso” of television due to its ability to produce stars such as Hudson. He also noted how much it has evolved over the years, saying, “American Idol started with something small but then turned into something gigantic” – proving just how powerful and influential it can be for emerging artists.

This kind gesture by Jackson stands testament to both his character and appreciation for all the amazing contestants who have been part of the show since its inception. His words serve as motivation for future hopefuls looking to break into music industry – showing them that anything is possible if they work hard!

Reflection On ‘American Idol’ As An Artistic Work

Randy Jackson’s praise for Jennifer Hudson showed just how much of an impact American Idol has had on her career and many others. It is also a testament to the power that the show has to turn everyday people into stars, creating a path to success in music for those who have had no other means or opportunity.

But what makes American Idol so unique among reality shows? Is it simply its ability to produce talented singers, or something more? The fact that Randy Jackson called it ‘the Picasso’ got me thinking: could this be true? Could we really view American Idol as an artistic work?

Upon further reflection, I believe that yes, American Idol can indeed serve as an artistic expression – not only through the talents of all its participants but also with regards to how these individuals interact with each other and their surroundings. From the camaraderie and support between contestants to their journey towards achieving their dreams, there are countless stories which make up this creative work of art. Through these narratives, American Idol showcases human emotion and resilience at its finest – making it truly one-of-a-kind!

Conclusion

I have to say, Randy Jackson is right – Jennifer Hudson is a star. She has achieved success not just in music but also in acting and Broadway. It’s inspiring to see how far she has come since first appearing on American Idol.

When you look at the show as a whole, it really is like an artistic work of art. Over the years, so many talented musicians have been discovered through its platform. The series continues to be one of the most popular shows on television today.

Randy Jackson was spot-on when he referred to American Idol as the ‘Picasso.’ He recognized what a great impact this reality competition had for those who were part of it and still does for future generations of aspiring singers. Through his words, we can all appreciate how special this show truly is – it’s more than just entertainment; it’s an amazing opportunity that will continue to change people’s lives forever!
