Rihanna Promotes Battleship, Talks Playing Whitney, Tweets Helicopter Photos

Rihanna went the conservative route while promoting her debut film “Battleship” in Tokyo, Japan. The “We Found Love” hitmaker stepped out in a pajama-styled blue and gold Emilio Pucci ensemble, instead of one of her sexy, skin-revealing looks. RiRi also showed off her new ‘do, after going back to black hair with one side of her head partially shaved.

In movie mode, the 24-year-old recently opened up about wanting to play Whitney Houston in her biopic.

“That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off,” she said to The Press Association. “That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.”

She continued: “My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song – ‘I Will Always Love You. It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she’s partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”

No word on when or if a biopic will be made but Jennifer Hudson, Vivica Fox, Brandy and Jordin Sparks are mentioned as possible Whitney candidates.

In more Rihanna news, the chart-topper released several pictures recently via her Twitter account as she flies in a helicopter.

Talk about the good life!
