After a five year break from music diva Toni Braxton will release the ‘Pulse.’ Toni Braxton ignited her comeback when she and Trey Songz performed the first single “Yesterday” and ended the song with a passionate kiss.
Her break made us wait for the contralto vocal range and power ballads.

Monica gave fans a view into her life with her reality television show “Still Standing.” Now she will provide the soundtrack of her life with ‘Still Standing,’ the album. Monica says “The next album I would like people to get more songs like “Why I Love You So Much,” “Angel of Mine”, she returns to her roots and strength with ballads on the forthcoming album.

Kandi began working on her sophomore album in 2008, the album was pushed back several times before setting a release date in 2010. The album will be released through independent label Kandi Koated Entertainment with expected collaboration from Rick Ross, Gucci Mane and Rasheeda.

Jennifer Hudson has been making movies and babies these last two years. Reports are out that Ms. Hudson has collaborated with Ne-Yo and production team Stargate for the new album.

Erykah Badu is set to release her fifth studio album, New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) on February 23, 2010. According to Erykah “This time there wasn’t anything to be concerned with — the album is more emotional and flowy and talks about feelings. It reminds of the days of ‘Baduizm’ — this is just about beats and rhymes in a cipher.”

Bilal has continued to perform without releasing an album since 2001 but in 2010 he signed a record deal with Plug Research. Bilal’s Plug Research debut will be released in 2010.

Vivan Green has kept people waiting on an “Emotional Rollercoaster” for new material. In 2009 she decided to return to the studio and release new songs by signing a three album record deal with E1 Music. The first song that has leaked from the album is “Beautiful“
faith evans, capitol records, Keep the Faith: A Memoir
Faith Evans was bought out her record deal from Capitol Records in 2007, since then she has been focused on raising her children and releasing her biographic book called Keep the Faith: A Memoir. Now a half decade has past an Faith’s fifth studio album is in hitatus as fans demand more music from Faith.
Hopefully now that her children are out of the baby stage she can sneak a way to record some new material.
