Mary J. Blige, Lawsuit, Sued
Mary J. Blige was sued for allegedly stealing music used on her latest album “Growing Pains,” including the single “Work That.” In the lawsuit, which asks for $2 million in damages, Drama Family Entertainment claims to have suffered copyright infringement because “Work That” was created by a producer who worked for the company at the time and placed on the album without permission. Blige has not issued a statement regarding the lawsuit.
