The inevitable has happened. Your relationship that you thought would last forever has come to an abrupt end. First you begin to wonder if it was something you did or didn’t do. Was there something that you could have done more of? After you’ve pondered so many questions and answered them, you’ve come to the conclusion that some relationships are just not meant to be. You do what we all do when we’re trying to get over someone, pull out your CD collection to try and get over your pain. The following are some great songs to help ease your mind and move on:

1. Irreplaceable – Beyonce
This song is about empowerment and moving on to a better relationship. Definitely a spirit-lifter.

2. Take A Bow – Rihanna
This one makes you feel that the tables have turned and you’re the one holding the cards right now.

3. Let It Go – Keyshia Cole
You finally realized that he or she probably didn’t treat you the way you should’ve been treated anyway, it was better to just let it go.

4. So Sick – Ne-Yo
Ne-Yo makes you discover that you’re tired of crying about it and listening to sad, depressing love songs….turn off the radio.

5. Gotta Go, Gotta Leave (Tired) – Vivian Green
This is the point where you realize that it wasn’t going to get any better and if there’s a song about it, you weren’t the only one.

6. Enough Cryin’ – Mary J. Blige
Mary said it best, “I’ve done enough cryin’, cryin’, cryin’, it’s time to say bye, bye, bye. Time to do something for me!”

7. Free Yourself – Fantasia
Listening to Fantasia sing, “If you don’t want me then don’t talk to me, go ahead and free yourself” makes it all worthwhile to have your freedom again.

8. Heard It All Before – Sunshine Anderson
This song basically says, “the jig is up, time to get gone because I’ve heard it all before” plus it has a nice beat that you can dance your blues away to!

9. Me, Myself, & I – Beyonce
Bey said it best when she sings, “ain’t no need to cry, I took a vow that from now on I’m gone be my own best friend.” You have to love yourself first before you can love anyone else.

10. You Don’t Have To Call – Usher
Like Usher, you’re probably tired of sitting home all alone, waiting by the phone and ready to go out and have some fun!

By the time you finish listening to these songs, you should feel a hundred percent brand new and ready to face the world again! —— By: Tiffany S. Haggerty
