This morning (May 20), Puff Daddy and the Bad Boy Family kicked off The Today Show‘s Summer Concert Series with a bang!
Puff started off the set with “Bad Boy For Life” before Mase joined him with “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” and “Feel So Good.” 112 then joined the stage for “Peaches and Cream” before the medley transitioned into “I Need A Girl (Pt. 2).” Busta Rhymes made a surprise appearance when he entered the stage for a hyped performance of “Pass The Courvoisier.” The set then went into “Mo Money Mo Problems” then the Bad Boy newbie “Finna Get Loose.”
Later, Puff performed “I’ll Be Missing You” with 112, and Lil Kim joined the stage on “All About The Benjamins.”
Tonight and tomorrow night, the Bad Boy Family will take the stage with the sold-out shows at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. Jay Z and Mary J. Blige are slated to make appearances on night one, and Swizz Beatz and DMX will show up for night two.
