Kendrick Lamar opened the 2015 BET Awards tonight (June 28) at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. with a performance of “Aright” from his No. 1 album To Pimp a Butterfly.
K. Dot succeeded in making a statement with graffiti-covered cop cars and American flags, a social commentary about unjust police violence against people of color "… and we hate po-po, Wanna kill us dead in the street fo sho,” he rapped.
