Beef is something that is ever present in the rap game. However, with the advancement of social media, beef has been handled in various ways. In a new interview with MTV's Rapfix, Waka Flocka opened up about his beef with Gucci Mane after Gucci tweeted, "Waka flacka flames officially dropped off brick squad 1017. Big Guwop say give me a offer fa this disloyal lil nigga."

Waka insist he doesn't know where the beef came from and claims he's not a disloyal person. “Honest to God truth, I don’t know cause I’m the loyalist person you could ever see. I took on a man’s beef, risked my life, hung out the window, risked my freedom. I never backed in a corner. To my knowledge it can’t be nothing but jealousy or something because there is nothing I did disloyal,” Flocka says in the below video. "Plus I own a percentage of Brick Squad 1017 and I own 100% of Brick Squad Monopoly, so you can’t kick the boss out, it's impossible," he adds.

As far as Gucci's Twitter being allegedly hacked, Waka says that's bogus insisting, "We had a conversation before that, real aggressive words like, like 'Ni**a let’s get up, let’s do this."

No more music or business with Gucci says Waka!

You have to love how honest Waka is.

Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane’s beef has been one of the most talked about hip-hop rivalries in recent years, but it wasn’t always like this. Waka recently opened up to discuss what really happened between him and his former friend turned foe. In an exclusive interview with XXL Magazine, he kept it real about their relationship and how they went from friends to enemies.

Since the feud started back in 2013, fans have wondered what caused such a bitter split between two prominent figures in rap music culture. From collaborations on hit songs to public insults traded over social media, there was no shortage of drama throughout their tumultuous journey together. Now, for the first time ever, Waka is telling all. He doesn’t hold anything back as he gives us an inside look at why things ended so badly between them.

In this article, we’ll explore the details of Waka Flocka’s account of his ongoing feud with Gucci Mane. We’ll take a look at what led to the rift and how their friendship deteriorated into animosity over the course of several years. Get ready to learn more than you’ve ever known before about one of hip hop’s biggest rivalries!

Lead-Up To The Dispute

The relationship between Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane was friendly for years, but things eventually changed. The two had been close friends since they first started in the rap game. They even went on tour together and made music as a duo. However, tensions began to build between them when Waka released his debut album in 2010 without consulting Gucci. This led to some back-and-forth online comments about each other’s loyalty and integrity.

As their feud intensified, both rappers took shots at each other through interviews as well as social media posts. While Waka said he wasn’t interested in beefing with anyone anymore, he kept it real about how disappointed he was that his former friend didn’t show him respect or support during the early stages of his career. He also expressed frustration at how Gucci seemed to be trying to sabotage his success by taking away potential collaborators from working with him.

The rift between them only grew wider over time until neither rapper wanted anything to do with one another anymore. To this day, the two still don’t speak and have no plans of reconciling anytime soon, leaving fans wondering what exactly caused their friendship to end so abruptly.

Waka Flocka’s Take On The Situation

Waka Flocka has been open about his feelings about Gucci Mane and their broken friendship. He’s made it clear that he feels disrespected by the way Gucci treated him, especially when they first started in the rap game together. In an interview with Hot 97, Waka said: “I’m not a person that holds grudges but I do think there was some lack of respect…it just wasn’t fair to me.”

The rapper also expressed frustration at how Gucci seemed to be deliberately trying to keep people from working with him during his early career. During the same interview, Waka explained: “He [Gucci] put out so much hate towards my movement it actually locked doors for collaborations I should have had. It kept producers away from even wanting to work with me.”

Despite being hurt by what happened between them, Waka still wishes that things could go back to how they were before their feud began—that they’d once again become friends like they used to be. For now though, it looks as if both rappers will continue avoiding each other until one of them decides otherwise.

Conclusion

The beef between Waka Flocka and Gucci Mane has been ongoing for the better part of a decade. Although they used to be close, it’s clear that something went wrong behind the scenes. Waka Flocka opened up about his side of the story in an interview, revealing his feelings towards Gucci Mane.

I think it’s safe to say that there won’t be any reconciliation anytime soon. The two have had their differences for years and while Waka Flocka isn’t opposed to burying the hatchet, he doesn’t believe Gucci Mane will ever take responsibility for his actions. He also believes that Gucci Mane is still making decisions based on jealousy and insecurity.

Ultimately, this situation remains unresolved until both parties are willing to come together and talk things out. Until then, we can only speculate as to what really happened between them all those years ago. But one thing remains certain: Waka Flocka holds no ill will towards Gucci Mane; he just wants him to own up to his mistakes and move forward with respect.
