Sometimes when rappers are seen by the people, they only see a super hero. They do not see a whole person and how he or she interacted with his family and friends. The "Ruthless Memories" documentary is a real look into the whole man … Eazy-E. Check it out.

How did Eazy-E influence West Coast gangsta rap and the music industry as a whole?

Eric “Eazy-E” Wright is an iconic figure in the rap world, and his legacy continues to live on through those who remember him. The new documentary “Ruthless Memories” seeks to explore Eazy-E’s life beyond what we know about him from his music. It dives into the real person behind the rapper and introduces us to a man of many sides: entrepreneur, father, artist, friend, and more. This documentary serves as both a celebration of Eazy-E’s life as well as a tribute to all he left behind for us to enjoy.

The film was created by two filmmakers with personal connections to Eric Wright: director Karam Gill and executive producer Mark Pitts. Both men grew up in Los Angeles during the peak of gangsta rap culture, which heavily influenced their own creative paths. As they sought to tell Eazy-E’s story accurately, they recruited family members, friends, colleagues and collaborators from every aspect of his life — including Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella — who share intimate memories that humanize the legendary hip hop pioneer.

For fans looking for deeper insight into one of hip hop’s most influential figures or anyone interested in learning more about a beloved icon gone too soon, “Ruthless Memories” offers an unprecedented look at Eric Wright that you won’t want to miss.

Biography Of The Artist

Eazy-E, born Eric Wright on September 7th, 1964, was one of the most influential figures in hip-hop history. He grew up in Compton, California and became embedded in the rap scene after being introduced to Dr. Dre and Ice Cube by Jerry Heller, their manager at the time. The three went on to form NWA (Niggaz With Attitude), which rose to fame with their album Straight Outta Compton released in 1988. Eazy-E’s single “Boyz-n-the Hood” cemented his place as a pioneer within West Coast gangsta rap culture.

Throughout his career, Eazy-E achieved commercial success both solo and with NWA; he also opened Ruthless Records to expand his reach outside of music. Unfortunately, Eazy-E passed away from AIDS only two months after announcing that he had contracted HIV in 1995. Before his death however, he managed to release several classic albums including It’s On(Dr. Dre) 187um Killa and Str8 Off Tha Streetz Of Muthaphukkin Compton which earned him critical acclaim and respect among fans around the world for years to come.

Today, “Ruthless Memories” documents Eazy-E’s life story through interviews with those closest to him. Featuring family members like son Lil Eazy-E and other artists such as Snoop Dogg who worked alongside him during this era of hip hop history – it gives viewers an inside look at how someone so influential could rise out of poverty in South Central Los Angeles and become an icon in rap culture.

Overview Of The Film

In “Ruthless Memories”, viewers get to experience the life and legacy of Eazy-E through exclusive interviews with those who knew him best. From his mother’s memories of his childhood in Compton, to Dr Dre’s recollection of working together on NWA tracks – this documentary provides an intimate look at the man behind one of hip hop’s most iconic groups.

The film dives deep into Eazy-E’s career as a solo artist and businessman, exploring not only how he achieved success but also why it was so important to him. It features never before seen footage from music video shoots and recording sessions that show just what kind of person he was: driven, determined, and passionate about making music for the people in his hometown.

Viewers are left with both a better understanding of Eazy-E as an artist and father figure, as well as a newfound appreciation for West Coast rap culture during its formative years. The film offers insight into the struggles he faced throughout his life while celebrating all that made him so special; overall it serves as an inspiring tribute to one of hip hop’s most influential figures.
