Usher is having a great time on the recently premiered season of "The Voice" (NBC).

While it's been fun working with established coaches like Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, Usher says there have been moments where he wanted a certain contestant on his team and it just didn't work out.

"I have had a few dead and useless pitches to get a teammate. You want to be their coach, but it doesn't always work out," Usher told Jimmy Fallon on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Nonetheless, Usher says this year's pool of talent has been incredible.

"Talent has been incredible, especially my team. I'm a little biased," he laughed. "I'm really enjoying it. Tonight was incredible."

Usher is no stranger to the music industry, but his recent stint on ‘The Voice’ has been a struggle. The singer recently opened up about how difficult it’s been for him while working on the show. He revealed that he was taken aback by the experience and found himself constantly questioning if he could handle it all. Usher’s candid revelations have surprised many fans who had no idea that things weren’t going smoothly behind-the-scenes of one of America’s most popular singing competitions. Let’s take a closer look at what Usher has said about his time on ‘The Voice’, and why this situation isn’t uncommon in Hollywood.

In an earlier interview with People Magazine, Usher discussed just how challenging it can be when you’re new to something: “I didn’t know what I signed up for,” he admitted, adding “It’s really intense — more than I even expected.” Despite having over two decades worth of experience in the entertainment industry, Usher still found himself feeling overwhelmed and unsure whether or not he’d make it through without losing his cool. His confessions shed light on an issue often overlooked within the Hollywood machine – exhaustion from too much work and not enough rest.

Usher’s struggles may come as a surprise to many viewers due to his celebrity status; however, they also provide insight into how demanding life in front of the camera can be – regardless of fame or fortune. In order to gain a better understanding of this unique problem, let us now delve deeper into Usher’s story and explore some of the difficulties he encountered during his time on ‘The Voice’.

Behind-The-Scenes Experiences

Usher has recently revealed the struggles and difficulties he faced while working on The Voice. He opened up about his experience as a coach, saying that it was often “challenging” for him to balance work with being a father, husband, and artist. Usher went on to explain how the show’s demanding format caused additional stress when it came to helping artists develop their skills in such a short amount of time.

The Grammy-winning singer also spoke about the pressure he felt from viewers who had expectations of what they wanted him to be as a judge on the show. According to Usher, this made it difficult for him to remain true to himself and help young singers reach their full potential. Despite these obstacles, he said that he enjoyed connecting with contestants and watching them grow during their time on The Voice.

While speaking about his journey on the reality TV competition series, Usher reflected on all that he learned throughout his tenure—both professionally and personally: “It gave me an opportunity not only to give back but also gain knowledge through my own experiences.”

Challenges Faced On The Show

Throughout his time on The Voice, Usher faced a variety of challenges. One issue he grappled with was the show’s fast-paced format—which required him to help contestants develop their skills in a limited amount of time. Another struggle he encountered was dealing with viewers’ expectations and maintaining his own artistic integrity while judging the performances.

The singer also found it difficult to balance work and family obligations. He revealed that it took “a lot of energy” for him to juggle being an artist, coach, husband, and father at the same time. Despite these difficulties, Usher said he enjoyed watching young singers grow throughout the competition and connecting with them during their journey.

Usher used his experience on The Voice as an opportunity to not only give back but also gain knowledge through his own experiences. His struggles have shown that even seasoned professionals can face difficulty when working on reality TV shows. With this in mind, Usher is now better prepared for any future projects he takes on.

Conclusion

I’ve seen firsthand the struggles and difficulties that come with being a part of The Voice. It’s not an easy job, but it’s one that I’m proud to have taken on. Even in the face of adversity, I was determined to make the show a success and help bring out the best in my contestants.

The experience has made me realize just how valuable hard work and dedication are. Working on The Voice has been an invaluable learning experience for me as well. Not only did I learn about production and television, but more importantly, I learned about myself; what I can handle and overcome no matter how tough things may seem.

Finally, while working on this amazing show presented its own unique challenges, overall it’s been an incredibly rewarding journey for me—one that will stay with me forever.
