Justin Timberlake gave a well received performance on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) last night (March 9). Not only hosting and performing, Timberlake teamed up with Steve Martin, Martin Short, Chevy Chase, Alec Baldwin, Tom Hanks, Dan Aykroyd and more for one of the funniest episodes of the year.

Justin also took the stage to perform the hit singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors."

Last night Justin Timberlake took to the stage of Saturday Night Live for his fifth time as host. As one of the most beloved performers on SNL, anticipation was high and he did not disappoint. From a musical performance that brought down the house to sketches featuring some of our favorite characters from years past, it was an evening filled with laughter and awe-inspiring moments. Here’s what went down in Justin Timberlake’s big night at Studio 8H!

It all started with a bang as JT opened up the show with a powerful rendition of ‘Mirrors’, one of his biggest hits. His signature style shone through in this vibrant performance. Throughout the song Justin worked every corner of the stage, engaging each part of the audience while also showcasing his impressive vocal range. He left viewers mesmerized as they watched him deliver yet another incredible performance on SNL.

After setting the tone for an amazing night, Justin moved right into sketches that had us laughing out loud throughout the entire episode. From returning fan favorites like “The Five Timers Club” skit led by Steve Martin to hilarious new additions such as “A Date With Destiny” skit starring Beyoncé, viewers were treated to some truly unforgettable comedic moments during Justin’s hosting duties.

Musical Performances

Justin Timberlake made a big splash during his return to Saturday Night Live this week. He was both the host and musical guest for the evening, performing two of his hit songs as well as taking part in some hilarious skits.

Musically, he opened with “Mirrors” from his 20/20 Experience album. It was an epic performance, complete with dancers and a huge stage set-up. The crowd cheered throughout and when it was over, Justin received a standing ovation. Later on in the show, he performed “Take Back the Night” off of his latest album The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2. Both performances were fantastic and showed why Justin is one of today’s top music stars.

Aside from singing, Justin also took part in some comedy sketches like joining Martin Short to become members of the exclusive Five Timers Club (reserved for those who have hosted SNL five or more times) and going on a blind date with Fred Armisen – which ended in disaster! His comedic timing was spot on and he proved that he can do just about anything!

Comedy Sketches

Justin Timberlake proved to be the ultimate triple threat during his SNL appearance, showing off his singing and comedic chops. One of the highlights of the evening was when he joined Martin Short as they became members of the exclusive Five Timers Club. This skit poked fun at how show biz insiders often take themselves too seriously by having Justin and Martin dress up in tuxedos and recite a snooty oath before being welcomed into the club with a special song-and-dance number. It was classic SNL slapstick humor that had everyone laughing.

Another hilarious bit saw Justin on a blind date with Fred Armisen (which ended in disaster!). The two played off each other perfectly, trading awkward one-liners and delivering some great physical comedy. From pretending to play golf while out on their “date” to fumbling over dinner conversation, it was clear these two were born comedians – even if Fred’s character wasn’t impressed with Justin’s moves!

Overall, Justin Timberlake put on an amazing performance for Saturday Night Live. His musical numbers were top notch and he showed off his acting skills throughout all the sketches. He truly is an entertainer extraordinaire!

Conclusion

In conclusion, Justin Timberlake’s appearance on Saturday Night Live was a huge success. His musical performances and comedy sketches were hilarious and showed off his talents perfectly. He brought back some classic songs like “Mirrors” and added some new ones to the mix as well. He also made us laugh with a few of his skits, particularly the date skit which had everyone in stitches. All in all it was an amazing night that showcased why Timberlake is one of the most talented entertainers around.

Overall I think he did an incredible job and delivered just what we wanted from him; great music and lots of laughs! It’s clear that if given the opportunity, Timberlake could make SNL into something special each week. The show certainly wouldn’t be the same without him – here’s hoping he’ll make another return soon! Thanks for joining me on this review of Justin Timberlake’s big night on SNL, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
