From her start in the music business in 2005, Rihanna has been a sought after ambassador to cosign brands and products. The Barbadian star’s appeal to garner millions of followers has helped her attract big dollars from various corporations looking to increase their bottom line. Couple this with over 25 million albums sold and 60 million singles worldwide as of 2012, we’re guessing FORBES’ was on the money for ranking her fourth for their 2012 most powerful celebrity.
Currently Rihanna has an estimated net worth of $72 million, but this number will continue to climb as she is now making a run for Hollywood. Her fragrance, Reb’l Fleur, adds millions more to her coffers, as does her heavy touring schedule that included over 85 shows in 2011-1012. In addition, she recently announced a brand new fragrance called ‘Naked.’
