Former Roc Nation artist Bridget Kelly is readying her career as an indie artist, and she releases a taste of what can be expected on her upcoming Summer of 17 project in the form of snippets.
Following the Mack Wilds-assisted single, “Act Like That,” the opus boasts eclectic production from Jordan Bratton, Da Internz, Swagg, and more, as well as Kelly’s always sassy, strong songwriting.
“This project is unlike anything I've ever released but I'm so proud of it,” she told Billboard. “I wrote/co-wrote every song; it's tailor-made to remind myself that I'm old enough to know better but young enough not to take life [and] love too seriously.”
Look for Bridget on the "Summer of 17" promo tour beginning on August 8th in Washington DC at The U Street Music Hall.
