It was Kanye’s turn to be in the hot seat this morning as he chatted with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club this morning. The outspoken artist had the chance to give his side of the controversial coin, letting fans in on what goes on inside his spontaneous brain when it comes to his ex, Amber Rose, his new shoe line, his marriage to Kim, race, socioeconomic class, and more.
Highlights of the interview include Yeezy talking about his behavior at the Grammy’s when he crashed Beck’s acceptance speech; he admitted he had never listen to Beck’s album. “I was completely hypocritical,” he said.
In regards to his wife Kim Kardashian and his ex Amber Rose, the conversation got interesting. Amber has been spouting off towards the Kardashians as of late, and Kanye came to their defense…kinda. “She’s just soaking in the moment,” he said. Then in a nutshell, Kanye called Amber second best. “If Kim dated me when I first wanted to be with her, there wouldn’t even be an Amber Rose.” He then elaborated, “It’s very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that’s with Amber Rose,” he said. “I had to take thirty showers before I got with Kim.” Ooop! (But, it’s not like Kim K was considered one of the “cleanest” celebrities, but I digress).
And when it comes to addressing those who think that Kimye should have left their 20-month-old daughter North West home with the nanny instead of a fashion show, Kanye replied, “No one can tell me where to have my child or not!” Ooop, ooop!
