I know this is going to sound crazy and you might not even believe it, but Nicki Minaj seems ready to have some children of her own after being inspired by pop sensation, Beyoncé. In an interview with L’Uomo Vogue, the "Anaconda" singer spoke about her ideal soul mate and starting a family. When it comes to what she wants in her ideal man, she said:
"An upright man, who will take care of me. The time is not yet ripe, but when I decide to get married and become a mother."
The female rapper has been building an empire in her name while focusing on her career. Although Nicki says she's "too busy" right now, she added:
“Seeing Beyoncé with her daughter and husband was so tender, and it showed me that it is possible to be an animal on stage and a caring mother at the same time.
"I gave myself a time limit to reach my professional goals," she continued. "I don't want to work my whole life without ever experiencing the joys of a family."
"Family has always been very important to me, and that is why I want to wait until the right moment before starting my own. Right now I am too busy, but at a certain point the situation will change. […] [Watching my mom be abused] had a profound influence on my way of being a woman – never let a man cross the line or control me, especially in my career," she said.
Today, Minaj is still hard at work creating her "empire" in an industry dominated by males.
All power to her, but you have to admit, It's a weird concept thinking of her moving on from her rapping career; she's a monster! I just wonder which man she'll deem "The One"… (cough cough Drake cough!) lol.
