Jennifer Lopez is pretty much mum on rumors that she might return to "American Idol," taking Mariah Carey's seat.
Confronted with questions about returning this season or next season, on the red carpet in Las Vegas, the only thing she kept repeating was "I don't know."
"I don't know. I don't know," said Lopez. "It's too far off to say right now."
Moving on from "Idol," Lopez was a bit more open when asked about her new album, which she has been working on with a number of producers and writers, including Chris Brown.
"I love doing dance music, but there's always that 'Jenny From The Block' vibe that I never like to abandon because it's so much a part of who I am and what I love about music. I'm doing everything that I think people expect of me," Lopez said of the album.
