O describes the EP as the “real grown-up me” and we’ve decided we’re fine with that. He seemed pretty grown when he was singing out O’s back in 2005. Clearly things could only get better from there.
"A lot of my fans are adults and have children and lives. It's really interesting because they still come out and support, the fans that used to chase my car. I think they ready," Omarion told Billboard of the project. "This is the real grown-up me. This is that age when Beyoncé had 'Crazy in Love' and Michael Jackson had 'Thriller,' when Justin Timberlake had 'FutureSex/LoveSounds.' I feel like I'm at that age. I can't wait to display this new me."
The R&B crooner hooked up with Maybach Music Group earlier this year and has released the EP as a preview for what listeners can expect from his forthcoming full-length album.
The mixtape, available below, features artists like Tank, Wale, Rick Ross and Joe Budden.
We think it’s safe to say you’re going to like it.
