The drama continues to unfold between Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka. Following separate interviews on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and “Entertainment Tonight,” Usher has made another move to perhaps distance himself from the mother of his two boys.
Business or not, Usher has given Tameka a sixty day notice to move out of a 12,000 sq. ft. mansion he has allowed to her live in for a number of years. According to TMZ, the Georgia mansion was listed on the couple’s divorce agreement with an option to sell as long as Tameka was given a sixty day notice.
As of last week, Usher exercised his option, sending a letter to Tameka informing her that she must vacate the premises.
Usher reportedly purchased the home with a $3 million price tag in 2007.

Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster have been through a lot together, but their relationship has now come to an end. Usher recently gave his ex-wife, Tameka, a 60-day notice to vacate the mansion they once shared – marking the final chapter of their tumultuous marriage. The news comes as no surprise as the couple’s divorce was finalized in 2009 after two years of marriage. But what would cause someone who was married for such a short time to give up on one of the most expensive homes in Georgia? Let’s take a look at how this situation unfolded between these two former lovebirds.

The pair met back in 2006 before getting engaged in 2007 and then marrying later that same year. They had two sons during their brief union: Usher V (born November 26th, 2007) and Naviyd Ely (born December 10th, 2008). By June 30th, 2009, however, it became official that the marriage was over when Tameka filed for divorce from her Grammy Award winning husband citing irreconcilable differences.

The drama didn’t stop there though as reports show that Usher has now given his ex-wife 60 days to move out of the luxurious home they once shared together – making it clear he wants nothing more than for her to be out by August 4th of this year. What will happen next is yet to be seen; could this mean things are finally settling down between the former couple or is something else going on behind closed doors? Read on to find out!

Background Information

Usher and Tameka Raymond have been embroiled in a contentious divorce for the past year. After months of back-and-forth, Usher has reportedly given his ex-wife a 60-day notice to vacate the family’s Georgia mansion. The news comes after reports that Usher had moved on with another woman, leaving Tameka feeling blindsided and betrayed.

The home was purchased by Usher during their marriage, making it part of their marital estate. According to court documents, Tameka is listed as an occupant but not as an owner or lessee of the property. As such, she must comply with the eviction notice if she wishes to remain living there.

It remains unclear what will happen next; whether Usher plans to keep the house or sell it off remains unknown at this time. However, one thing is clear: both parties are looking out for themselves and their interests amid this tumultuous period in their lives.

Legal Dispute

As the legal battle between Usher and Tameka continues, it is clear that each party has their own agenda. Usher’s notice to vacate the property suggests that he intends to take full control of the estate, while Tameka claims she was unaware of his plans and feels blindsided by the news.

Given these conflicting interests, a dispute over ownership rights could ensue. Tameka may challenge Usher’s right to evict her based on her argument that she is an occupant but not an owner or lessee of the mansion. If this occurs, then a court would likely have to decide who has proper title to the home in order for a resolution to be reached.

It remains uncertain how things will play out in this situation; however, both parties should expect a lengthy process until all matters are resolved.

Conclusion

The legal dispute between Usher and Tameka has come to an end. After months of back-and-forth, the court ruled in favor of Usher, giving him the right to serve notice to vacate his mansion within 60 days.

Tameka was understandably disappointed with the outcome. She had hoped that she could remain in her home until a more permanent arrangement could be made. But ultimately, Usher’s rights as property owner won out in this case.

It’s never easy when two parties have conflicting interests, especially when it comes to something as personal as one’s residence. In this situation, unfortunately for Tameka, my client was able to prevail and assert their rights under the law.
