R. Kelly may have just canceled an anticipated “Love Letter” cruise, but there is a silver lining in the form of a tour.
According to a rep for the “Write Me Back” singer, Kelly is planning a tour that will allow U.S. fans a chance to see him sooner-rather-than-later.
“R. Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans,” read a statement. “He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour.”
While details are forthcoming, the tour seems perfect following the release of Kelly’s latest album “Write Me Back.”
As widely reported, Kelly canceled his appearance on the touted cruise due to an issue with payment. The company promoting the Caribbean trek will process refunds at point of purchase.
In related news, R. Kelly’s anticipated book “Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me” is now available in physical and digital formats, including Kindle.

R. Kelly is ready to hit the road! After his canceled cruise, the singer has announced he will be launching a U.S. tour in 2021. This news comes as a relief to fans of R. Kelly who were disappointed with the cancellation of the cruise and have been eagerly awaiting new music from him since then. With this upcoming tour, they’ll finally get what they’ve been waiting for – an up-close and personal experience with their favorite artist! Read on to learn more about R. Kelly’s upcoming tour and how you can snag tickets before anyone else does.

The talented musician was set to embark on a two-day Caribbean cruise back in 2020 but unfortunately had to cancel due to COVID-19 concerns at that time. The good news though is that now he plans on making up for it by taking his show across America starting next year. He recently took to social media to announce his decision, stating “I’m so excited to come see all my amazing fans in person and give them an unforgettable night of music.”

For those looking forward to seeing R.Kelly live in concert, you won’t have too much longer until your dreams become reality! Get ready because tickets will likely go quickly once they’re released, so make sure you keep an eye out if you don’t want miss out on this one-of-a kind opportunity!

R. Kelly’s Upcoming Schedule

R. Kelly has announced plans for a U.S. tour in the wake of his canceled cruise due to coronavirus concerns. The singer will kick off the trek on October 17th, 2020 with a performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City and will wrap up the 39-date string of shows on January 16th, 2021 with a show at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

Kelly’s upcoming schedule includes stops in major cities like Boston, Detroit, Houston, Atlanta, Miami and more. Tickets for most dates go on sale tomorrow (July 28) via Ticketmaster and LiveNation.com and include VIP packages that come with exclusive merchandise as well as access to pre-show soundcheck and photo opportunities with R. Kelly himself.

The artist is also offering an upgraded ticket package called “I Believe” which gives fans access to exclusive meet & greets with R. Kelly before each show – making this one of the few times he’ll be available for private interactions during his career spanning over two decades. It’s clear that R. Kelly isn’t letting any obstacle get in his way when it comes to delivering quality entertainment to music fans across America!

Reactions To Canceled Cruise

R. Kelly’s announcement of a U.S. tour in light of his canceled cruise due to COVID-19 has been met with mixed reactions from fans and industry professionals alike.
Many are applauding the artist for his resilience and determination, citing it as an example of how even amidst challenging times there is still opportunity for growth and success. Others have expressed their disappointment over the cancellation of the highly anticipated event, which was scheduled to take place earlier this year on board a luxury cruise ship in Mexico.

But while some may be disappointed that they won’t get to experience R. Kelly on a cruise, many more will now have the chance to see him live in cities across America – something that would never have been possible without the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his original plans. Ultimately, this new tour provides an exciting alternative for those looking forward to seeing one of R&B’s biggest stars perform live onstage again soon!

Conclusion

In light of the canceled cruise, R. Kelly has decided to launch a U.S. tour in order to make up for the lost time and income. This is sure to be met with mixed reactions from fans and critics alike; some may support his move, while others may remain critical of him regardless of any action he takes.

Personally, I’m not at all surprised by this announcement. Despite all that’s been said about him over recent years, it’s clear R. Kelly still has an incredibly loyal fanbase who will continue to show their unwavering support for him as an artist no matter what happens. I think that everyone should take this opportunity to experience his music live before making any judgement on the situation – though only time will tell if it’ll pay off in the long run or not.

Ultimately, we can’t ignore the fact that there are two sides to every story and depending on where you stand, your opinion could differ greatly from another person’s perspective. From my point of view, I believe that people deserve a chance to express themselves freely without fear of judgment – even if they’re controversial figures like R. Kelly – because art is meant to bring us together rather than drive us apart.”
