What’s hip-hop with-out a beef? Beefing seems to boost cred and gains free publicity (even if it’s negative), often leading to an increase in record sales and fans. The Drake and Chris Brown beef has gained much attention, but Young Money’s headmaster Lil Wayne wants the spat to end because he believes it’s bad for business.
According to TMZ, members of Young Money including Weezy and Birdman, are urging Drake to bury the hatchet because Chris Breezy appears on several collaborations with Young Money members, which ultimately become hits. Young Money has Drake’s back, but “making money matters most,” says one source.
Sources close to Drake tell TMZ that Drizzy doesn’t want to extend a hand to Brown until he knows for certain that Brown doesn’t blame him for the brawl.
What do you think? Does beefing hinder or help business?
