Dallas-Based Crooner J-Hen Introduces Himself On ‘The Prelude’

Dallas-based, HipStars Entertainment crooner James “J-Hen” Henry Jr. is giving fans s peep into what’s to come from the rest of his career with this project called The Prelude.

Written by J-Hen, the 7-track EP is of satisfying soulful tunes; the first two hip-hop inspired tracks  “Wild In Vegas” and “Gypsy Girl” kick off the project in an uptempo note before going into “What Are You”, slowing it down a notch for a chance to spit game at a beautiful stranger. “Have A Good Time” features 80s-inspired synths for some danceable, throwback fun while the next two tunes “Stretching Sounds” and “Why Do I Love” takes the tempo down for some good, old-fashioned slow jams.

“A surprise to my fans “The Prelude” has been a long time coming. Hope you enjoy it. This is only a prelude of what’s to come,” he captioned with the project.

Production can be accredited to Demetrius “DBizzy” Smith and  Christopher “Oz” Billik.
