Last night (April 30th), Grammy Award nominee Tamia previewed songs off her upcoming sixth studio album, Love Life, which is slated for arrival on June 9th via Def Jam.
During the intimate event at SoHo House in New York City, attended by a small group of media and label personal, The R&B veteran spoke passionately about her new body of work as she responded to questions from the audience and host. She also confirms penning a song for husband Grant Hill.
"25 (her age), we got married, and I think it's important, in a relationship, to continue to grow rather than stay stagnant. It's also important to continue to connect with each other and support each other because your dreams change, your goals change," Tamia says. "I wanted to write a song that was sort of reflective of that. The poor man has had to endure "Stranger" and other songs like that (laughs).
Love Life is headed by the Oak and Pop-produced single, "Sandwich and a Soda."
