Ashanti’s album Braveheart will finally see the light of day after much delay, and she’s already dropped a handful of the LP’s songs, mostly those with features such as “I Got It” ft. Rick Ross and “Real First Love” ft. Beenie Man.
However, one of the album’s standout tracks comes without a feature, track number three "Runaway," on which ‘Shanti finally decides to leave a dead end love situation. Her voice is strong here, and the hard-hitting track has the right umph to get her point across. True enough, it sounds like something that would’ve graced an album during her Murder Inc. days, like you’re waiting for Ja Rule to jump on the track at any given moment.
Braveheart will drop on March 4.
