Beyonce is having one amazing start to 2014, full of reasons to celebrate: she rung in the new year at the Versace mansion in Miami, celebrated the 2nd birthday of daughter Blue and mama Tina's 60th birthday with an opulent masquarade ball, not to mention a No. 1 album!
And this past Saturday (Jan 18), Yonce had yet another birthday event to attend: First Lady Michelle Obama's top secret 50th birthday bash at the White House. As friends of the Obamas, the Carter family was invited, as Beyoncé was requested to perform.
The star shared photos of her family’s visit, which shows them making the White House their home away from home: the Carters pet the Obama’s dogs, admire one of the Christmas trees (they’re still up?), and take a quick tour along with Jay before Bey took to the stage for a 30-minute set in a short gold mini. Reports said guests were requested to wear comfortable shoes, so you know they turnt up!
