To celebrate the release of his upcoming film, Black Nativity, R&B crooner Jacob Latimore held a special listening session last Thursday (Nov 21) at Sony Wonder Studios in New York City. During the intimate gathering, the young star greeted fans and tastemakers and performed music from his catalog.
Latimore plays the character Langston, who is sent to Baltimore to spend Christmas with his grandparents in the upcoming Black Nativity film. Academy-Award winner Jennifer Hudson plays his single mother. Luke James plays JoJo, a homeless man awaiting the birth of his child with his girlfriend Maria. Others in the film include R&B heavyweight Tyrese, rap vet Nas, Angela Bassett, and Forest Whitaker.
