Grammy winning singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and his charity, The Compound Foundation, honored Emmy Award-Winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr. (for his exemplary leadership as an adoptive father and his work supporting inner city children), celebrity photographer Johnny Nunez and Cartoon Network COO, Stuart C. Snyder at the 2nd Annual "Fostering a Legacy Benefit" this past Saturday in East Hampton.
Held at Sprint's CEO Bill Nuti's beautiful residence and co-hosted by Ne-Yo and actor/comedian Kevin Hart, the gala helped raise funds to help Compounds foster care initiatives.
R&B singers Ravaughn, Bridget Kelly, Luke James, Mario, Estelle, who was the night's featured act, and Ne-Yo himself took the stage to entertain event-goers and possible monetary donors. Other guest included BET's Stephen Hill, singer/actress Adrienne Bailon, Tiki Barber, and more.
The Compound Foundation’s goal is to provide children in foster care and group homes the tools necessary to become successful entrepreneurs, forge healthy relationships, pursue education and training, and empowering them to control their destinies.
