JoiStaRR – Art & Beat (My Block Inc) Purchase
The former biology student, JoiStaRR, has found her career in music as a songwriter and performer. On her debut EP, she stamps her style with records that fuse R&B, Gospel and World Music. The project, titled ‘Art & Beat’, is defined by JoiStaRR as “Music is my canvas…what I feel, I paint.” The six-track EP was created with the assistance of James Fauntleroy (Justin Timberlake – The 20/20 Experience), Augie Ray, Charlie Bereal and LaMar "Mars 1500" Edwards (Chris Brown).
JoiStaRR exports her songs into a visual film by releasing an accompanying mini-movie of the EP.
