Melanie Amaro is returning to her reality show alma mater X-Factor on Thurs Dec. 6 as the winner on the eve of a blossoming career. She will debut her new single “Long Distance” on the results show, performing it in front of millions of viewers. “I’m as excited about being on the show as I was when I first auditioned, and I’m as devoted to music as I’ve ever been,” she said. The up-tempo tune is sure to have the audience and judges alike on their feet.
“Long Distance” will appear on Truly, the singer’s Epic/Syco debut album due in 2013, which will feature industry heavy-hitters such as Rodney Jenkins and C. Tricky Stewart.
