Mateo is back with the brand new joint “Carry On,” the first release from his forthcoming mixtape, ‘Suite 823,’ the follow-up to 2011’s ‘Love & Stadiums.’ The record, which carries the torch of hope for anyone needing to picking the pieces and truck forward, was produced by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, a long time Alicia Keys Collaborator, and Zeke MacUmber for Krucial Noise.
As Singersroom previously reported, Mateo recently inked a record deal with Interscope Records after leaving Myspace Records in 2010 and partnering with Krucial. He recently stated about his sound, “I really feel like the lane we are in is that young foolish love thing that everybody goes through; it is everybody’s story.”
