Karina Pasian looks all grown up on the June 2012 cover of Fuzion magazine. The Goddaughter of music legend Quincy Jones and Grammy Nominated singer opens up to the outlet about her start in music, artists she would like to collaborate with and her very interesting celebrity crush.
On 16 at War…“When I created my song ’16 at War’ I was actually 15 turning. I was about to turn 16, so it made sense. It was written by The Dream. He kind of tailored it to me and the way I perceived society. I think it was a great introduction for me as who I [was] in the industry and what I want[ed] to show people.”
From Beginning to Now…“I’ve been singing since I was 7 years old and playing the piano since I was three. I’ve been in this industry since I was about 13 or 14. I would say my music is a little bit of a combination of R&B and soul. It has little bit of that hint of jazz that I add with my voice, because jazz is like my favorite genre.” – Karina Pasian
Collaboration and Celebrity Crush…“I have collaborated with Trey Songz & John Legend and I would love to collaborate with Drake. I think he is so talented. His lyrics are just amazing and his melody and concepts. I think he is just an amazing artist…I think he is so talented and my celebrity crush is Wiz Khalifa, I think he is beautiful.”
