Atlanta was rocking over the weekend as R&B crooners Sammie, R.L., Mishon and LaTocha Scott entertained music enthusiasts and tastemakers for the “I’m Not A Minor” showcase. In its third installation and hosted by crooner R.L., formally of the multi-platinum selling group Next, event-goers received a true R&B treat, playing on the stigma that the genre is not dead, instead still alive and transcending.
Former Xscape member LaTocha Scott was the icing on the cake with her surprise performance.
The “I’m Not A Minor” showcase is actively producing a bi-monthly platform where emerging and some more celebrated artists work hand and hand to keep their genre of music alive.
