Although Kelly Rowland won’t be returning to the X-Factor set anytime soon as a judge, she has already been offered a new venture deal that totals to over $1 million.
The former Destiny’s Child star is said to have been offered a seven-figure deal to be the face of the fashion brand, Next. This came about as soon as Rowland had ended talks with Simon Cowell on returning to the show.
The Next deal is currently being negotiated by British entrepreneur Chris Nathaniel and his company, NVA Entertainment Group, and according to an insider, “It’s a massive deal but NVA are used to securing seven-figure deals.”
Rowland has recently expressed her interest to be a judge on the U.S. version of X Factor, but the timing is off. “Kelly was a popular judge last year and the producers and Simon have said as much. But she felt returning to the UK show wasn’t the right thing just now,” said an insider.
However, a spokesperson for NVA Entertainment Group declined to comment when asked about the Kelly Rowland and Next deal.
