[EXCLUSIVE] SWV Performs at Album Release Party

SWV celebrated the release of their first album in 15 years last night (April 17) in New York City in amazing fashion. Held at the legendary S.O.B.s club, the veteran R&B group performed new songs from their new CD ‘I Missed Us,’ as well as classic cuts from their multi-platinum catalog.

SWV’s new album ‘ I Missed Us,’ features the singles “Co-Sign” and “All About You,” with collaborations from newcomers Brianna Perry and A.X.

SWV – Coko, Lelee and Taj – released its debut album “It’s About Time” in 1992. The album went multi-platinum and spawned a string of top ten R&B hits including “I’m So Into You, “Right Here,” “Downtown,” “Weak” and “You’re Always On My Mind.” The group’s sophomore effort, “New Beginning,” went double platinum, while the trio’s third album, “Release Some Tension” went platinum.
