R&B newcomer Mateo played his new EP ‘Love & Stadiums ll’ yesterday (September 20) for a group of media outlets and tastemakers. The event was hosted by Power 105.1 personality Angela Yee and Mateo’s label boss, Grammy winner Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers. In addition, a personal message was played with Alicia Keys bigging up Mateo, insisting how “special”and “Unique” he is. Keys, a long time collaborator to Krucial, is featured on Mateo’s lead single off the album.
