Singer-actor Justin Timberlake is reportedly one of the front runners in the upcoming remake of the classic film Dirty Dancing.
According to bookmakers, the ‘Friends with Benefits’ actor is said to be a favorite to play the part of Johnny Castle, the leading role made famous by Patrick Swayze in the 1980’s hit movie.
Timberlake will be in stiff competition for the role as he faces off against ‘Thor’ actor Chris Hemsworth and Zac Efron. ‘Scream 4’ star Emma Roberts and ‘Glee’ actress Lea Michele are the current favorites to play Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman, previously played by Jennifer Grey in the original movie.
The film will arrive in 2013.
