Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri met in 2002 and maintained a healthy and steady relationship for a few years. After her brother, Micheal Jackson’s death, she broke it off with Dupri. She needed to focus on filming “Why Did I Get Married Too?” to deal with the grief.

Rapper Nas and Kelis got married in 2005. While eight months pregnant, she filed for divorce in April 2009. This past May the divorce was finally settled. She now collects a whopping $55,000 a month in child and spousal support.
Usher & Chili
Usher and Chili dated for two years and broke up allegedly due to cheating. They broke up in January 2004. Three years later he proposed to his stylist turned girlfriend, Tameka Foster. She birthed two sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond. In 2009, Usher filed for divorce from Foster.
Kim Khardashian
Kim Khardashian was married for four years to music producer Damon Thomas. In 2007 she dated singer Ray J, where she gained popularity after an explicit home video was leaked. Later that year she began to date NFL Player Reggie Bush. They officially split in July 2009 and then again in March 2010.
Rihanna & Chris Brown
Rihanna and Chris Brown began dating in spring of 2008. Their relationship was never announced or talked much about until February 2009. Brown turned himself in and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and assault against Rihanna. Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, accompanied by a restraining order that requires him to remain ten yards away from Rihanna at public events.
Christina Milian and The Dream
Singer and actress, Christina Milian and The Dream got married in Las Vegas on September 4, 2009, a few months after dating. Days after, they stated that they were surprisingly expecting their first child together. Not even a year after, paparazzi took pictures of him and someone else on the beach. The-Dream stated Milian and him had separated a few months after their wedding.
Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey and actor, Nick Cannon eloped on April 30, 2008. It is unknown how long they had been secretly dating for, Carey is the master of keeping her relationships secret. On October 2010 Carey confirmed that she and Cannon are expecting twins in the upcoming Spring.

Rumors began to circulate in 2002 about Beyonce and Jay-z’s relationship. On April 4, 2008 our favorite couple got married in New York City. Knowles did not publicly debut her wedding ring until the Fashion Rocks concert on September 5, 2008, in New York City.
Alicia Keys
Swizz Beatz formally announced in May 2009 that he and Alicia Keys were seeing each other. At the time he was in the process of divorcing his wife, Mashonda. A year after that announcement, it was confirmed by their representative that Keys and Beatz were engaged and expecting their first child. On July 31, 2010 they were married on the French Island of Corsica. Egypt Daoud Dean was birthed on October 14 in New York City.
