9. Erykah Badu ‘WAS’ afraid of stripping down for “Window Seat”
Contrary to her brazen attitude in the controversial video for “Window Seat,” Erykah Badu was scared when it came down to walking through the streets of Dallas, Texas in the nude. Here’s what she had to say after the video’s premiere in March:
“I am grateful,” Badu told fans on Twitter. “I was petrified while shooting this video … but liberation began to set in. I conquered many fears in that few moments.”
Attacking ‘Group Think’ (a type of thought exhibited by group members who try to minimize conflict and reach consensus without critically testing, analyzing) in the video, Badu went on to say “We are ALL guilty of groupthink we have all been VICTIMS of groupthink.”
