Grammy-Award winning R&B/soul singer Chrisette Michele rolled out the latest installment of VH1âs SoulStage. Chrisette, who took off in the press after performing at Singersroom Live in late 2006, is known for her silky, raspy tone, infused with a dash of Amy Winehouse, a touch of Macy Gray and a smattering of Jennifer Hudson. Taped in front of a live studio audience, “SoulStage: Chrisette Michele presented by Infiniti” will premiere on VH1 Soul on Tuesday, April 28 at 10PM. Chrisette will debut her first single, “Epiphany” from her highly anticipated sophomore album “Epiphany” dropping May 5th. She will also perform “Blame it on Me,” “All I Ever Think About is You,” “Playing Our Song,” and songs from her debut album, including “Be OK” and “Golden.” When VH1 “SoulStage” made its debut in August 2007 with R&B songstress Jill Scott. Soul crooner Raphael Saadiq, former Tribe Called Quest leader, Q-Tip, hip-hip band The Roots, and Grammy-Award winners Erykah Badu and India.Arie soon followed.
