A private investigator claiming to have “obtained and/or recovered certain tapes that were said to incriminate” R. Kelly has filed suit against the singer. In a lawsuit filed last week in Missouri, Charles Freeman claims he was hired during R. Kelly’s trial to retrieve tapes relevant to the singer’s ‘child pornography case’. According to Freeman, Kelly never paid him for the job and owes at least $300,000 plus interest. In 2008, some seven years later, R. Kelly was found not guilty in his ‘child pornography’ case.
