Christina Milian, Lawsuit, Sued
After being sued over the samples in her hit single “Dip It Low,” R&B star Christina Milian sued the producer of the track, claiming he lied about the sample used. Milian alleges Poli Paul, who wrote the record, assured her “there were no samples whatsoever” in “Dip It Low,” but the singer has since spent a fortune in legal costs, defending herself in a plagiarism lawsuit. Her lawyer, Ed MCPherson, requested that Paul and his associate, Spencer Cowlings Entertainment, pay the $300,000 Milian spent defending herself in the case, and punitive damages.
