Electric soul singer Janelle took New York City by storm early this morning. The "Q.U.E.E.N." songstress unleashed her energetic and funky stage presence during her "Today Show" concert series performance at Rockefeller Plaza.
"Hellooo, I am the electric lady, and I am your morning coffee,” intros Monae before entertaining concert-goers with her retro, uptempo, rock n' roll dance single "Dance Apocalyptic."
Monae's new album, "The Electric Lady," is available in stores now.
