When it comes to dating, there are no golden rules. But when it comes to choosing a guy to date, there are a few men that every woman should avoid. If you choose to date him anyway, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The Rebounder
If he just got out of a relationship less than three months ago, you should proceed with caution. The Rebounder is likely not looking to jump back into another relationship. If you’re just looking to have fun, he might be a good match. Otherwise, stay away.
The Mama’s Boy
What describes The Mama’s Boy? Maybe he still listens to his mother like he’s ten years old, or he doesn’t make any decisions (big or small) in life without consulting his mother first. Or even worse, he still lives at home with his mama. We love a man that loves, respects and honors his mother, but one that can’t walk a few steps without his mom nearby is another story. The Mama’s Boy will likely always put his mother before youâ¦even if and when you’re his girlfriend, wife, etc.
The Cocky Guy
The Cocky Guy usually thinks that he is God’s gift to women, and he’s not afraid to admit it. Confidence is sexy, but cockiness can be overbearing. If you’re OK with dating someone who will likely expect you to feel honored that he chose you, you’ll probably want to avoid The Cocky Guy.
The Player
The Player is the guy who’s always surrounded by or talking to ladies, and he’s usually very charming. And he might be so charming that he actually convinces you to give him your number, or even go on a date with him. However, be aware that The Player is also known as Most Likely to Break Hearts.
Mr. Elusive
You aren’t exactly sure what he does for a living, and he only answers his phone during certain hours of the day. Mr. Elusive generally only reveals certain details about his life. If he’s beyond a mystery, you should shy away from him. These could all be signs that he’s married, doing something illegal or involved in something that you don’t want any part of.
