In the March Issue of an interior designer’s bible, Architectural Digest, singer-songwriter John Legend and fiance Chrissy Teigen grace the mag with a feature about their Los Angeles home. The home's decor was designed by Don Stewart, whose clients also include Legend’s G.O.O.D Music chief Kanye West (and everyone knows he’s stylish in everything he does!)
Stewart said the architecture has an Asian influence, which led to his design choices. “I told John and Chrissy that it reminded me of a Thai temple. That Asian influence was something they responded to, especially since she is half Thai.”
Legend said the design fits the couple’s casual style, along with the vibe of the sunny west-coast metropolis. “Our style is chic and tailored, but also earthy and casual. Since this is our first home in Los Angeles, we wanted it to feel right not only for us but also for this city,” he explained.
