L.A. crooner Kevin Clarke drops the hypnotic video for “Tsumani,” the latest offering from his breakout debut EP, Idle. In the Jawney Quest-directed clip, Clarke vibes out in a dark room amid various animations.
“Tsunami” is a mid-tempo track with an infectious melody and hook that gets stuck in your head for days. It’s all waves like a true tsunami.
After experimenting with many different sound textures, writing styles, and creating a wide variety of music, Kevin released “Kiss of Life” on SoundCloud in the Spring of 2016. A breathy, atmospheric tune, sampling the Sade classic, the song is an ode to lonely dreamers everywhere and missing lovers past. Once “Kiss of Life” gained a following, with many people asking for more music, Kevin released his debut project, Idle, an EP featuring songs with subjects ranging from women to mental health, family to the struggles many artists face.
